What are the sculptures made of?
I use a variety of types of wire including copper, steel, black annealed, and brass. Each piece is unique.
Do you take commissions?
Yes, I can work with you to design the piece: size, shape, and wire color.
How long does it take to get a commissioned piece?
I usually have a turnaround time of 60 days. Depending on the time of year, it could be less.
Are they fragile?
Yes, they are easily crushed. They are meant to be suspended from a ceiling. If you must move a piece, wrap it carefully in bubble wrap and secure extra padding to the narrow connecting sections between lobes.
Can I hang the sculptures outside?
You can, but I don’t recommended it. Weather, including rain and mist, can oxidize the metal and change the color of the sculpture. Some may even rust.
Will the color (patina) of the wire sculpture change over time?
Yes, oxidation occurs naturally, even if a piece is kept indoors. Expect the wire to darken gradually over time, just as copper and brass darken over time. The patina generally has a pleasing look as it ages.
How can I purchase a sculpture?
All sculptures on the website are available unless they are marked as sold or in a private collection. Please use the contact page for inquiries or comments.
What are your shipping policies?
Currently, I only ship to the US and Canada.
What is your return policy?
All sculpture sales are final. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding your purchase. My goal is for you to love it.
Can I cancel my order?
Commissions can be canceled if the piece hasn’t begun production. Orders of finished pieces can be canceled if it hasn’t been shipped.
